Sheet Metal, Flat Pattern, Direct Edit - Move / Offset Faces

Hi, In Flat Pattern there is no Direct Edit command

Is it possible to offset selected single face ( or faces along an axis )  to offset normal to face through the solid side / towards the full side of the body via API?

I may create a sketch and then create a cut feature, but there are hundreds of features that I need to arrange. I want to code something practical.

For example I need to set the gap to 5 mm, so for each side I need to offset faces  0,5 mm; but this feature will only present at flat pattern layout of sheet metal. Please answer if it is possible or not.. and may be you may guide me  🙂 Thanks

Hi,
Use the model state.
one for the cut and an other for the finish product.
Create the"cut Model State" and change the cotation or add feature as you need

Make the flat pattern with this model state activ.
I think you can automate this with ilogic in the fold part
(Add model state, change the dimension, unfold, generate a DXF,...)
