Hi there,

i'm stambling thinking about an ability to set demansion for a cuting view sketch on a drawing with ilogic. The cuting view is incorrect, then ilogic changes take place. The sketsh is permantly the same and need to be changed manualy. If someone had to say something about or have any ideas, i would be pleased to know about.

Have a nice day, as you know

Hi!

Well.... if i understand what you seek...

The cut line is basically a sketch.

If you edit that  sketch, You can add a dimension to the cut line and you can control the dimension with iLogic.

 Hi Carlos,

that's right. But i can't manage this dimension as parameter or use an equation for it.

All that i can do is a static dimension, which can be too small or too large for some parts.

Anyway thanks for an answer ☺

Well....

you can share a variable between the 3D and the drawing.

This way, when you are modeling the part, you already know the value you need in te drawing.

It's one idea.

I've tryed to do it, but it's not possable to use a 3D part variables for this sketch. Dimensions are not varables, they can be only constants.

I´ve also tryed to use linked dimensions from a 3D part, it works, but a differnce is also constant. (see picture)

Try doing less, do the best
