Separating or identifying parts vs components

Hi

I have a listbox on my form that represents the objects in the active assembly tree. I need to be able to separate / hide any object that isn't a part. For example, my assembly has 50 100 degree inset hinges, 400 8mm dowels and a bunch of custom made parts. I need to show only the parts.

I tried matching with trommed folder paths but it doesn't always work.

My component library is in a different location to my project directory but I need a more stable solution.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Nigel
