Saving Faces in Inventor

I need to know if it is possible to save a specific face as an .iges file in Inventor.  I am in the Metrology field and need to check specific surfaces for flatness.  We need a new CAD program, but need to save faces to .iges files.  Is there any way I can do this Inventor.

Hi there and welcome to this forum.
If you have a Inventor file with only the specific face, you can save it as an .iges.
If in a Inventor file are multiple faces you will get an .iges from all the faces.
With some iLogic code it will be possible to save only a selected face to an .iges
This will not be raket science to make.
