Saving drawing title block templates

Hello!

I've had a little problem saving title block templates. After I save new template, it should appear under Drawing resources -> Title Blocks, but in my case - it doesn't.

Here is how I create a slightly modified title block, maybe I am missing a step or something:

1) Finish sketch -> save as -> name it ''ANSI example''

Untitled.png

Now it appears in the Title Blocks

But when a new drawing is created, it doesn't appear in the Drawing Resources:

Where did you save template? Is it path in Aplication option same path to your template?

In addition to checking that you're modifying the drawing in your templates path also if you have a project configured check that the template is saved in its template path as well.

Windows search doesn't find any files named ''ANSI example'', so I think it isn't even meant to be a global template, but a part of that particular drawing.

So now I just saved the whole empty drawing as a template and it appears in the ''create new file'' menu.

Lauris, it is correct you wouldn't find the seperate files of the title blocks. All the items in the Drawing Resources are not saved to external files. They are stored within the document they are created in. So they must be added to whatever template you're going to use.
