I created a pipe and flange assembly called SHELL NOZZLE - RFWN with some simple ilogic rules in it. It is composed of a pipe and flange. The flange will be automatically placed from the content center while the pipe will be updated from an embedded excel file in the part file. The assembly also has a form that I use to update the assembly.
What I need is to be able to save a copy of the assembly and the SHELL NOZZLE PIPE.ipt at a certain filename format to make each copy unique. The assembly has some parameters that I would like to use in the filename of the copies. I would like to be able to do this using ilogic and maybe a button in the Nozzle Data form to execute the save as if possible.
For the assembly, I would like it saved with the filename WO# SHELL NOZZLE TAG.iam and WO# SHELL NOZZLE PIPE TAG.ipt. The "WO#" and "TAG" are parameters that are in the assembly. (i.e. W03-070770 SHELL NOZZLE N5.iam and W03-070770 SHELL NOZZLE PIPE N5.ipt).
