Hello,
I am new to rules and forms and I encountered several problems, i wonder if you can help me:
I started with an excel table (xxxx.xls) with parameters. These parameters control a part (xxxx.ipt). I then have an assembly (xxxx.iam) which is made of parts derived from xxxx.ipt. Finally I have a drawing of the assembly (xxxx.dwg).
- I would like to put a form in the drawing where i can input my data, let´s say "height" and "diameter"?
- I would like to create a rule to push these values back into the model and the model to update.
- I would like the rule to keep on working after "copy design" from vault, as the names will change.
