I am looking for some code that would allow me to do a mass replace on a component where used.
For example, i have 5 assemblies that use the same washer. I want to exchange this washer with another very similiar. Has anyone developed anything like this as of yet?
Obviously my situation is a little more than trying to change 5 assemblies. I will need to make chnages to 10's and 100's. Otherwise I would just go in and modify these files individually.
My thought was to place all the assemblies I wish to update in a temporary .iam then have a special "replace all" that would look completely through the product structure. Rather than the default Autodesk solution that only looks at the first level.
