Punch Tool Center Bug

Hi,

I'm using Punch Tools where I need the width of the punch to be user determined. If I link the parameters of the punch tool to a user parameter and change the value, the punch tool is no longer constrained to its center mark. Its as if it changes the dimension to one side. The punch tool ifeature itself is made using just a Two Point Center Rectangle but how it is drawn doesn't seem to change this behaviour. See pictures for better explanation.

If I open up the feature dialog box and click Ok, it updates the punch tool and it is centered again. Same goes if I suppress the feature and unsuppress it. However in my actual part file (not this test) that didnt work either for some reason. It seems like it doesnt rebuild the feature when I unsupress it and the only reason I can see for it not working in the "real" file is that is much more complicated than this test file (although this feature is exactly the same).

Would be very happy if someone could shed some light on this. As it is now we are unable to use Punch tools for these scenarios and currently there is no other method that is really practical.

Attached is the test file seen in the pictures with the workaround of suppressing/unsuppressing the feature after the dimension is updated.

Best,

Fredrik

I figured out another workaround that is not too unpractical for my uses, instead of using parameters in the punch tool I change the dimensions with Direct Edit on the geometry instead. Still not a good solution but it works without too much effort.

Oh and btw, if this forum is the wrong one for reporting bugs please let me know!
