Hello,

I am trying to populate an excel spread sheet using iLogic.

I have attached the code and where my excel sheet is saved.

It keeps saying that it can't find the excel spread sheet. Why is This?

Can anyone help??

Or does anyone have a code i could use to populate an excel spread sheet, using i properties. Part number for example.

Thanks,

Thomas

I haven't done iLogic in a while but I was thinking you have to open the excel file first.   But you would get a better results in the Inventor Customization forum.  Programming needs or questions should be asked over there.  https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-customization/bd-p/120   I will ask the moderator to relocate your posting there.

Hi, we cannot study your rule because you have only shared one image, however I have a slight feeling that the excel file name has a problem with spaces in the file name. I will replace the spaces with underscores so that what I say is understood.

Shifta_Test_Excel_ (ilogic) _. Xlsx

Imagine the scripts are spaces
I get the impression that in the ilogic rule you have the character in red that is not in the real name of the file. I would prefer to see the file extensions so we do not write these names, we copy them directly from the file to avoid any minimal error in a different character.
I hope some of this can help. Regards
