Parameter strings

It would also  be nice if someone could define which strings will work in a parameter equation box.

In other words, do math functions work? Is there a way to make Math functions work?

How about a list of functions that will work, instead of me trying a million different combos to get something to work?

Does anyone check these message boards anymore?

I've been working on a Huge project using Ilogic, Iparts and Iassemblies. It is very frustrating when things seem not to work the way they should and you can't get any help.

Have you looked at the help files?

There is a section on what formulas and equations are supported within parameters

Go down to the References section and expand 'Use formulas and equations'

I found this in the Inventor API help files by typing in "Enter values in edit boxes", late last night.
