I have an issue where I have a simple part but the part contains basically a fold that can be up or down. I use 2 different features to swap between the two.
The part needs also be split in half.
I can set up the drawing initially to dimension both the folds when it is up and then down but as soon as the part is split and a sequence is followed then I always end up with an orphaned dimension.
I have spent literally days trying to get this to work and tried every dimensioning method I know. Even annotating the model flat pattern doesn't work as they become orphaned also and don't re-attach when it is the correct configuration for them do so.
I have attached some steps in a PDF document and if you required I can send the part and drawing.
I have worked out I don't need to worry about the actual bend note as I have some code which can just add a bend note at any time to all bends.
