Hello All,
I am a new user to Inventor, and I am looking for some advice, or direction on creating a macro. The purpose of the Macro is to get a Mid Plane representation of sheetmetal geometry, to be used in creating FEA geometry. To create this surface, I am currently using the offset face command. My intent would be to be able to pick the two faces that the mid plane will be representing, from those selections, I will have the face and distance it needs to be offset.
First question would is a Macro the best route to take with this, and if that is a yes, then is there a good example out there to learn from, or some good sources to get a start on it.
Thank you in advance for any input on this!
As a side note, I am still stuck in Inventor 2008, so please keep that in mind in any replies. Edited by: D.Sondreal on Oct 27, 2009 6:36 PM
