I am trying to make a specific leader function that can add custom or pre saved text to the leader however, thye API doesnt support the 'rubber band' method of creating a leader by code. It simply places a leader at 2 or more points without the ability to let the user pick the points and have the leader attached to the mouse pointer.
So, im wondering if i am able to start an interaction event and during the process, invoke the standard leader command and have a listener for the Enter key event (which brings up the text box) and upon that, add the pre-saved text and close the box automatically?
unless of course, there is a way of adding a leader through the API that works in the same was as the stadnard method?
