Making progressive and cumulative sum of several areas - using ilogic

Hello Inventor experts!

I am here again with other issue to ask you for some help.

I have a situation where a need to measure areas with and without holes from different kinds of surfaces and I am trying to use some ilogic solutions to automate these tasks.

I have got a code some months ago with the colleagues here from forum.

And it’s working perfectly for some specific situation and for other I continue doing manually work and I would like to ask for help to adapt this code to be use in a second situation.

I have attached an ipt file with a prepared scenario to receive the code, and an image with a workflow and details with I imagine will be the solution, in order to help to understand my situation.

Summarizing, there already is a code to extract the area with holes and areas without holes from a surface in an individual way.

And I need help to adapt the code to make a progressive and cumulative sum of several areas.

The code working is in the ipt file in “rule0”.

I am available to provide any other necessary information.

Hello @moraesorlando,

I modified the code to total up faces as you go.  You will open the form and start the code with the button.  Then select a face, and at the end it will ask if you want to add another face to the total.  This will repeat until you answer no.  I also added a selection highlight to show the end user which faces have been accounted for in the total.

I have attached the updated part to this post.  Let me know if you have issues opening it and I can post the code separately.
