Hello,

Is there a way to have a lowercase revision number in a drawing (in fact, it's not really a number but a character).

All I can set is uppercase format or numbers.

Does nobody has the same problem?

I wonder we're the only company to use lowercase revision characters!

Hi Denis,

Sorry, your question doesn't seem to me like a customization topic, it is rather a product use question. We are dealing here with customization and programming questions only.

Please log a new entry in the "Autodesk Inventor" forum, so one of our Product Support specialist can answer you.

Thank you,

Philippe.

OK, since the option isn't available, I thought the only way to do that was a customisation (register edit, for example).

Anyway, I try to ask it in the product forum.

Thanks

That's what I thought:

Any idea of customisation (iLogic, register, xml file...)?

It's pretty much certain that this behavior is hardcoded inside the dialog, without taking into account registry settings or third party customization file.

In term of customization, it is usually not possible to alter the behavior of native Inventor dialogs.

Regards,

Philippe.

So the less bad way will be to add a modifcation of the case before the publication of the drawing (we do this operation after every creation/modification of a drawing).

I will suggest this to the Autodesk programming team.

Thanks a lot
