LOD to iAssembly

I know there is a way to convert view reps into a LOD.

On the same lines, is it possible to convert an inventor assembly with LODs into an iAssembly. I am expecting each LOD to become a variation in iAssembly.

Possible to do this with iLogic ?

can I get some guidelines, please.

Physically (by user interface), it is possible.

What it requires is a different column for each LOD, and the choice to activate/deactivate them.  That is all.

Doesn't sound like a feasible idea to use for 'swapping' because it doesn't actually change the active LOD.

So when you cycle through the rows, you get an error where the LOD is not available, and it doesn't automatically change to the next available LOD.  An alternative is to use the Component's (tab) Include/Exclude option (which would also create many columns; 1 per component).  You could read the existing LOD and get the list of suppressed components then use that data to create a list of components that are included/excluded.

@CAD-One,

Hoping that below blog article may be helpful in adding LOD to iAssembly columns. Initially, iAssemblyFactory is created and excel object is called to edit the columns.
