Do you mean, via the API? Or, in general? The following link isn't Inventor related, but has some good info regarding Lighting in 3D scenes. http://www.3drender.com/light/ Mike "Mike Diyer" wrote in message news:41bdc64a$1_1@newsprd01... > Are there any documents available to help with Lighting Styles?? such as > Locating lights relative to model, etc. > > Inventor Help isn't very helpful... > >

Thanks for the information. However, I'll try to explain my problem. While creating a front perspective view of an elevator interior, one side of the interior is always rendered differently, usually darker. I assume it's because of the placement of the Lighting. Although changing things such as the models origin point and the lighting style propertiess do appear to change the model, it has no affect when placed in a drawing environment. Is this a lighting issue? Can I display the lights and move them? Unfortunately, you can't change the source of the lights. The IDW uses the IPT/IAM default light settings. http://makeashorterlink.com/?T2A21240A Mike "Mike Diyer" wrote in message news:41bde44e_3@newsprd01... > Thanks for the information. Hello, I've noticed the reflection.bmp is used in when rendering views on a sheet, is it not possible to temporarily remove reflection.bmp to see if this will lighten the rendered view? HTH Scott
