HI,

I have an iLogic assembly whit some forms, which are open by iTrigger.

The form have 5 Tab Groups. When the form is open, is open on the tab 4.

How can I constrain it to start on first one when is trigger?

When you close the form, the currently selected tab is saved. Then when you open the form again, that same tab is selected. There is no option to select another tab.

We could add an option like that to the iLogicForm.Show() function.

Another possibility would be to add an option to the form that says "don't remember the last selected tab". Would that be useful? Would you be happy to always start on the first tab in this form, even when it is not launched by iTrigger?

@Cosmin_V , which version of Inventor are you using?
The form should start up with the same tab selected that was selected when it closed. There is no need to open the form for editing.

If this isn't working on your form, can you post your model (or a simpler model that shows the same problem)?

Hi,

@MjDeck

I use Inventor 2016.2.9.

That's how I thought, for a while but is seems that it is not so.

Unfortunately I can't share my model here. You have to believe me.😁

It seems that if I "Resize Controls", which tab will be "On" when "Exit Resize Mode" whit that one will start the form.

Many Thanks!

@Cosmin_V , I see the problem now. It happens if you use Resize Controls.
This is a defect, but you can take advantage of it.
- select the tab that you want to be the starting tab

- choose the Resize Controls command (but you don't need to actually resize anything)

- close the form

Now the form will open to that tab the next time.
