iTrigger doesnt work

Hello,

I have problem with using iTrigger. It should work after adding line "trigger = iTrigger0" to my external rule. But when I try to use it (by pressing iTrigger button), nothing happen. Can anyone explain me how to set iTrigger to my external rules?

The iTrigger0 is a user parameter that gets updated. External rules don't get triggered by parameter changes. Therefore also not by the iTrigger0 parameter change. As far as I know, there are 2 workarounds.  you can add the rule to the event trigger "Any user parameters change". The downside of this is that the rule will not be triggered only by the   iTrigger0 parameter but by any parameter change. (Also I'm not sure in which version of Inventor this event trigger was introduced. I'm sure it's working in Inventor 2022 but maybe it's already working in 2021.)

The other option is to use my addon ButtonConstructor. this addon allows you to create buttons for external iLogic rules.
