I'm having some troubles with getting iProperties to work the way I'd like it to. I am trying to have a BOM of a part show up in the comments section on the summary tab. I am having two problems with this.
The first problem being that inventor only lets you export numeric parameters and not text parameters. I currently have a multi-value text parameter for the material and I can't find anyway to call it into the iproperties comment text box.
My second problem is whenever I call a parameter into iproperties it will input that parameters value in, but when i close out and come back it is no longer a parameter that will update. It is just the value it had the first time I entered it in. So every time instead of it just automatically updating when the model changes it takes that first value it had and then won't change anymore.
