inventor style conflict

I am Vignesh from India and I am new to these Autodesk inventor 2019, when I try to open the application it showing an error message even though I  ignore and continue some tool are not working .kindly, someone helps me through this issue

This is a very common message.

Basically, whenever there is a style with the same name in both the Template file and in the Style Library, but the one in the Template has local changes that haven't been saved back to the Style Library, this causes a conflict.  The style within the Style Library will always win this conflict by default, but will cause the error message to show.

There are 3 things you can do to solve this issue.

• Option 1:  Open the Template file, then save that locally modified style back to the Style Library, over writing the existing style in the Style Library, so both will be the same and up-to-date.
• Option 2:  Open the Template file, then purge that locally modified style, so only the one in the Style Library still exists.
• Purge that style from the Style Library, but not from the Template file, so it doesn't conflict with the one in your Template file.

Styles take some getting use to. Basically, you have a set of libraries that Inventor uses. The libraries are set up your CAD manager or you if its just you. (it also comes with a standard setup).

You need to work on the basis that every document (part, assembly, drawing) will get the required library objects and store / copy them locally in the document.

The reason you are getting the message is because the library in the document and the master style library are different. This is usually caused by 2 factors:

1.  The master style library has been updated and your document is out of date
2.  Your document has been updated and your master library is out of date.

To be clear, you document should always match the master style library.

go to the manage tab

by clicking update, you are getting the latest objects FROM the master library to the document.

by clicking save, you are SAVING any changes to the styles from the document to the master library.

by clicking Styles Editor, you are opening the styles editor to make changes. Any change here will affect all documents using that style.

If you make any changes, you should always open the templates, update them then save them to make sure all future documents are using the latest styles. Any existing documents should be updated and saved by clicking the update button as shown above.

any screenshots of that? i doubt your style editor is empty

Hi,

First of all i think this is rather inventor forum question, and you should ask there, second this is style conflict and it for sure will not affect your model like you said that you have some errors, it only means that as @WCrihfield  said  you need to update template or style library to do so check this help article:
