Inventor Settings

Hello from newbie with Inventor.  I have a drawing done in Inventor and want to export it to a dxf format.  Now according to the help the .dxf extention should be in the list, but it isn't, nor is .dwg.  I have looked around but cannot find where to change this, can anyone help me on this.  Sorry about this I no it seems stupid, but I cannot work it out.

So in the file menu there is Save & Save As. To the right of these are arrows..

Click the arrow next to Save As. Choose Save Copy As.

Now you will find .dxf in the list.

Ensure that you check the options (there is a button at the bottom) before saving.

That is my problem .dxf does not appear in the list so I think that I must Have Done something wrong when I installed the program. the other one that does not show up is .dwg.
