Looking for some advice on code for creating new part files and pushing derived sketches to them. I have a single part file that i'm creating large quantities of sectioned shapes from. I've automated the process of laying out section cuts along an splined patch, creating a plane at each section point and processing the cut edges. Instead of creating solids for each of the sectioned shapes within the same part file I'm looking to automate the creation of a new part file and connect the new sketch as a derived sketch using VBA or iLogic.
