Inventor hangs until I connect to machine via Remote Desktop

I have a Windows Forms based application that launches Inventor, opens a drawing and prints all of the sheets. This application has been running since Inventor 2011 without a problem.

We've recently upgraded to Inventor 2015, and since then have had a strange problem. Multi sheet drawings often hang, but as soon as i Remote Desktop into the machine hosting the process, it resumes. I don't click any buttons, see any prompts, nothing out of the ordinary. It is as if Inventor is sitting there waiting.

Any ideas?

OK, this is a wild guess, but when you print a multisheet document in Inventor, the screen actually refreshes on every sheet for it to print. Because of that I can imagine that the print process actually uses the graphic card processing to print.

My suggestion would be to try two things

First: make sure your screen is never shuting down in the Control Panel -> Power Options -> Change Plan Settings

Second: You said that you remote desktop to the computer... Does it have a monitor connected to it? If not, try connecting a monitor to the computer to make sure the graphic card is active.

Like I said, this is a wild guess, but it's pretty simple to try...

Hope this can help.
