Inventor 2016 hangs when I'm doing something with Vault

My Inventor 2016 doesn't work with Vault. Whenever I want to checkin or checkout a file, Inventor doesn't espond anymore and I have to use the taskmanager to close the Inventor.

I tried

- deinstalled and new Inventor installation

- deinstalled and new VaultClient installation

nothing help.

The AutoCAD Vault AddIn works.

I have also VS 2013 on this machine. I have the impression it occurs after I run some updates for Visual Studio. But actually I don't think there is a connection to this?

Does anybody an idea, what IO can do, so I can use the Inventor-Vault-AddIn again?

Thanks

Thomas

A colleague figured it out. It was quite ease, the Vault-Dialog isn't on the top and is hidden by the Inventor itself.

  • I can press ESC and Inventor gets the control back
  • If the Inventor doesn’t fill the full screen it doesn’t happen

A question remains, why the Inventor does hide the Vault-Dialogs?

Just to finish this post.
The dialogs disappears, because they went outside of the screen, you get them back using the key combinations like ALT+SPACE ...
