Inventor 2014 is not compatible with Windows 10

i installed windows 10 last week and my inventor 2014 does not work with it kept giving error.

On the same computer and before installing windows 10 i had the same ver. of Inventor 2014 (actually the same copy) worked fine with windows 8.

Any ideas on how to overcome this problem?

Windows 10 has not been tested to be compatible with Inventor 2014. Please check System requirements for Autodesk Inventor 2014 products. Yes, Inventor 2014 is supported on Windows 8 but might not be supported on Windows 10.

that means i will not be able to use inventor at all just because i have windows 10 , because none of the inventor products have been tested with windows 10 yet.

I just installed windows 10 and it is NOT working with Inventor 2014.

Sing in, open up download finder and install service pack 1 for inventor-products.

That worked with me.

H.O.Claussen, could you be more specific please?

I went to Autodesk, logged in, found the product updates HERE.

Under Inventor/Downloads, I don't see any "Service Packs". A bunch of foreign languages is all I see.

I ran the installer for the 64 bit version again, but there were no changes to apply.

I'm not Inventing.

Any other tips please?

Ah, I found the Download Finder on the knowledge home page.

That location does list SP1 Update 7 for Inventor 2014 to fix a startup issue on Windows 8.1 that is identical as the one I had on Windows 10.

Downloaded, installed, rebooted and running fine again.

I install service pack 1 and 2 use win 10 pro 64bit and now it works.
