Inventor 2014 Developer Tools msi corrupted Visual Studio 2010

I installed the Inventor 2014 Developer tools which evidently tries to install wizards in Visual Studio.

When I try to open an existing VS project, I get an error message that the vsDebutPresentationPacka Version 10 did not load correctly and then it crashes. Consequently cannot open/debug any of my VS applications.

When I try to create a new VS project I get an error message that says "Provide value on System.Windows.Baml2006.TypeConvertMarkup
Extension threw an exception"

I tried to repair the developer tools but could not, so I uninstalled them.

After restarting, visual studio still has these errors.

I don't know that the developer tools had anything to do with this issue but is more of a timing issue. The tools supplied with inventor don't do much to VS outside of copy some templates. Please check that you have the latest service pack for VS and see what happens then.

You might want to post this in the customization forum. Inventor customization: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Autodesk-Inventor-Customization/bd-p/120 you might have a response from QA or dev staff considering this is more for them.

I believe I jumped to conclusions here. I believe the problem is a corrupted machine.config file.
