I have managed to create a standard assembly that is controlled by VB using a linked excel file to the assembly and all the parts that are included in the assembly.
After running the programme which in turn will activate inventor.exe and opens the appropriate assembly automatically.
I would very much like to control this assembly similar to an iAssembly. i.e. ‘include’ and/or ‘exclude’ part automatically through VB.
Currently this is possible using iAssembly, however this become a two stage process and requires operator’s intervention.
Please Help. Any suggestion could lead me to an answer.
