iLogic Internal rules and external rules

Hi All,

We have a lot of internal rules within our template library parts and was wondering if by having several internal illogic rules within a individual part does this have an effect on the speed of the part also the effect of assembles when adding these items into assembles.

Is it best to use external rules as opposed to internal rules. Some of the information within the part internal rules may be redundant unless there was a requirement for this element within the current specific job being produced.

any feedback on this would really be appreciated.

@Boggle88,

Nice question,

Some times, external rules would be nice. external rules are called on demand basis. It means that no guarantee of using external rules. It is called or used when there is a requirement.

On the other hand, internal rules are integrated within document. Need not to call explicitly. Sometimes, it will be called automatically on event triggers and saves time.

Finally, it is all about user requirement and application whether to use internal rules or external rules.

Thanks and regards,
