iLogic color control features

Happy Friday all,

I know it's late on a Friday to ask this kind of question and I will attempting to work it on my own, but here goes. I have an ipt file in an assembly with multiple instances. This part file has part features that I can choose between 3 different colors to assign my chosen features. My question is can I have different colors for each occurrence of the part. I will be attempting this with iLogic. Looking forward to your input and have a great weekend.

If I can pull this off I'll post a screencast in this thread.

one way to do this could be throught the designview in the part.

You can make several designview with different colours in the part.

in the assembly, you can activate the desired designview per occurence

Herm Jan,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly on a Friday. I haven't worked with design view reps. So I ended up giving unique names and making "duplicate" parts. It allowed me to work with iLogic in a way I am familiar with. Hoping to upload a screencast to this thread showing a peek at the code and what iLogic did for me. This is an ongoing project for me and I have miles to go. If you're interested in what I've gotten so far, check out my screencast uploads.

Have a great weekend and Thanks again.
