I like the idea of the Finish feature available in 2024+.
I want to predetermine the finishes. Easy, set them in theFinish.xml file.
I now want to create a template file that has an ilogic rule to see if someone used the Finish feature and if so set the finish to an iProperty "Finish". Also, i know i can compare the finish surface area to the part surface area to determine if they only finish part of the part or assembly and add ",except as noted".
I have tried but if the feature is not there, my simple code faults out.
Any help?
