If I write in iLogic in Inventor, I can edit one part.
There are about 100 files with the same rule.
Is there a way to apply them collectively instead of individually applying them one by one?

Yes there is multiple ways.

It will all depend on where your files are located.

Questions are as follows:

  • What is the rule doing, updating iproperties?
  • Do you want to point to a windows folder path and run all the rules in those files?
  • Are all the ilogic rules internal to the document?
  • Are the files assemblies or parts or both?
  • Can you easily identify the files by file name, iproperty etc, if they are in amongst other files?

You can create a rule to look at a directory of files, open each one and run the rule, save and close once you know the workflow you want.

Are you trying to make changes to an existing iLogic rule in all those parts?
Or, are you wanting to use one iLogic rule to make changes in more than one part?
