Not a specific problem as such, but more of a request for general advice.
I've been using iLogic for two years now and have completed some extreamly complex assemblies, with hundreds of parts and calculations. However, one thing has always alluded me:
How to write code for parts that are currently not in the assembly? All the work I've done to date manipulates parts that are already present and named in the template assembly.
Ideally I'd like to manipulate and extract data from parts that are added to the assembly after the template has been opened.
As I don't know what those parts will be called I have no idea how to access them through iLogic.
I think I could search for more information more easily if I knew the correct terminology used by AutoDesk for such things.
