I am using iLogic to output a DXF for use with NC software and need the DXF to be only composed of lines or polylines. I am doing this via an IDW file because I also need some parameters as drawing notes as per the attached JPG. I originally tried this using the DataIO object from the IPT file and a sketch for the notes but found that the notes only showed as a bounding box in the dxf file. The DataIO object had some nice options as far as hiding and showing layers and the format of the output entities so the flatpattern was perfect but there appeared to be no way of parsing the iProperties/parameters to the dxf.
Is there a setting somewhere in the INI file or the IDW template that will control the types of entities in the DXF file when you use the dxf translator via iLogic ?
