Hi guys,

I need your help. I want to debug my codes which is a plugin product to Inventor. I have used visual studio 2012, it works. Now I try to use 2017 or 2015, but every time I start Inventor from visual studio, it always crashes. The codes are c++, the visual studio setting is in the attached image file, so is the image for the crashing message.

Please help, I am stuck here.

thank you.

Regards

John

Can you share your VS project? Or you can check if the below SDK sample can work or not after installing the DeveloperTools.msi:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk\Inventor 2018\SDK\DeveloperTools\Samples\VC++\Standalone Applications\Inventor\SimpleExe

If this solves the problem please click ACCEPT SOLUTION so other people can find it easily.

It is due to the licenses issue, the Autodesk admin has fixed the issues for me, now I can start Inventor from visual studio.  Thank you very much.
