I am looking for a way to set a user parameter or custom iProperty thru iLogic equal to the value of the bend deduction from the bend table based on the unfolding rules for the current material thickness and bend angle. Is this possible? I have all of the bend table data already set up in my styles/templates in Inventor, and I don't want to use an external bend table. I am trying to locate bend "notches" at the ends of the parts (see screenshot below) so the shop guys can visually measure to verify the bends will be correct while parts are still flat. The notch locations and sizes must be dynamic as the material thickness, bend dimensions, and bend angle changes from part to part. I have tried constraining sketch geometry to bend lines and tangent line in the flat pattern, but if the material changes, the sketches become disconnected from those lines. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
