How to Mirror selected parts in Assembly file ?

can anyone help me out?
i am trying to search API for mirrorring the selected parts from assembly, but still got nothing.
anybody has some idea how can i mirror the selected parts with respect to the selected plane?
also can i mirror all constraints and fetures associated with these selected parts? how?

Hi,

I never try to do such task but, mirrored part is derived part with symmetry from an XY, XZ, YZ original work plane indeed. Assembly mirror tool place then the mirrored part but never constrain it.

Look for Derived Parts and Assemblies sample in API Online Help. It would help to start something.

i searched for derived parts but i need some sample code that can explain how to derive a part and then how to place those parts accordingly. there is a option of derived part with mirror option but dont know how to use this.

hey,
i got the derived parts in assebly. but all the parts get placed one over other at one place only (oMatrix of assembly doc). i dont know how to mirror, how to place them at required location. can anyone help me out please
