I am finalizing my app and I am trying to figure out how to handle all the different versions of Inventor I plan to support (2020, 2021, etc.). I was thinking of releasing each version of my app to target a version of Inventor and it would only work with that version of Inventor (ie. no backward compatibility. That is a little too advanced for me right now). And each time I update the app I would publish that new version to the App Store. But I was wondering what happens if a user comes a long and has an older Inventor version; the version of my app in the App Store would theoretically only work with the latest version of Inventor.
So my question is, is it possible for a user to view all versions of my app in the App Store and download the specific version that supports the Inventor version they have? So far I have not been able to find the button on the App Store to view previous versions of an app. Or should I rethink my strategy?
And if anyone has feedback on good strategies for managing Inventor versions in their app I would love to hear them.
