How to activate macros in Inventor 2012 ?

Macros in inventor drawing are not activating or it is not automatically generating vba codes.

when creating macros and i assign dimensions to objects but the macros are not generating any codes .Please help

It is autodesk inventor. what do you expect? microsotf office?

In Office applications, you can *record* macros.

Inventor does not have a macro recorder.

Investigate the help for examples to get you started.

Yes, as robmatthews said, Inventor does not provide the ability to record macro. We have a similar wish VBA Record and Playback, but it has not been implemented.
