Force iproperties to be filled in

We want certain custom iproperties te be filled in when saving or checking in to Vault. Anyone knows how to accomplish?

Vault Data standard can help you force filling the required iproperties field before you can check in to vault.

Before you can check in you need to save your file, so it could also be an option to  use ilogic or API to create some rules triggered by the "before save" event for example.

Sounds like something that could be done with iLogic?  I can move this post there if you want.

You could create an external rule that defines what you need. Here is just an example. I created a simple rule called "push custom".  Then in the manage tab > Ilogic Panel > event triggers, Set the rule to run "before save". When you click the save button, it runs, then saves. Does that help?
