Edit Mouse Bindings

Hello,

I just recently downloaded the latest 2016 version of Autodesk Inventor. I would like to edit the mouse binding (middle mouse from pan to orbit) but am having some issues. I have located the custoization panel under Tools > Customization from the statup menu. From there the option to edit KEY bindings is present but it appears as if mouse bindings can't be entered. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

This seems to be functionality that's missing.

I know windows recognizes upwards of 5-6 buttons on a mouse by default. Not sure if it goes farther or not. Some mice (i.e. Logitech) come with software that allow you to program the buttons based on the program. Some have no software at all and you're at the mercy of what windows and the program you're using handle by default.

So, if you have a Logitech or Microsoft mouse, you should be able to get mouse software from them and set the buttons up through that.

I don't know if you even has access to mouse buttons like that via the api..

Thanks for the reply. It seems silly that Autodesk would overlook mouse bindings but apparently they did. I will look into changing my mouse settings instead to work around the problem.
