Drive Constraints via API - 2nd Try

What mechanism does the 'Drive Constraint' command use to modify constraints and is it accessible via the API

Doing a small test program (VB.NET addin) I can get an update rate of around 2 per second in my test Assembly (changing parameter value and then rebuilding Assembly) whereas I can get substantially better performance (ie smooth movement / 10's of updates per second) when RMB'ing on the constraint and selecting 'Drive Constraint'

Regards

I'm not sure, but is it possible it uses the studio environment.
