Which function should I draw with Inventor ILogic to add another edge to the middle or desired distance of a rectangular frame?

Hi @hayattangercekler2.  You are probably not getting many responses right away because your question and the terms you are using within that question are confusing.  You may need to be a lot more specific and detailed about the exact scenario you are talking about, before we will be able to understand correctly and be able to help you.

Your beginning phrase "Which function should I draw with Inventor ILogic" is confusing because 'drawing' a function does not make any sense.  What does 'function' mean there?  Or did you mean to say "What function should I use within Inventor iLogic"?  With the middle phrase in your question "to add another edge", by "edge" do you mean the edge of a solid body/model/face, or do you mean a sketch line in a sketch?  In the last phrase of your question "to the middle or desired distance of a rectangular frame", by the word "frame" do you mean a solid model of some framing extrusion/tubing in a part or assembly, or do you mean a simple rectangle in a sketch?

If I were adding an edge to a rectangular frame, I would attempt to place a workplane and use it to perform a split on each face desired without removing material. Placing the workplace could be parallel to plane at point or angle to plane about an edge/line.

Just a guess though, as I've been having problems with a few of my recent scripts.

Good luck.
