Hi
Is it possible to suppress the dialog that appears on closing a file within Inventor, which asks if you would like to check in the file?
What I mean is I have, for example, a part file which is referenced in the Vault but is checked out to me. Every time I close this part file within Inventor, a dialog box pops up asking if I would like to check it back into the Vault. I would simply like to stop this dialog box appearing, and for the part file to closed as though the only version is on my hard drive.
I became proficient with Inventor before the Vault system was introduced, and I do completely understand and appreciate the benefits of the Vault. But during the course of a day I will open and close lots of files (parts, assemblies and drawings) countless times. It is annoying and inefficient to keep clicking ‘No’ or ‘Cancel’ when the dialog box appears. I will know when I want to check something in to Vault, and I find the best way to control that process is using the Vault tab.
Thanks
