Design Data Conflict

Hello,

I am currently setting up our company standard templates and design data for Inventor 2017. We have several clients in which we have to use separate design data and templates for of which is controlled by ipj's.

I start with a blank design data for each client and use the client templates to save all styles to the design data for each client and then set the design data and templates to read-only.

Everytime I switch ipj's to use a different design data and templates I am getting the message that my template styles are different from the design data styles. I dont get why, because when I set them up they work fine and are set to read-only.

Maybe I am missing a small deatil or setting, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance Ben.

When you save the template files to the shared template path, did you ensure the following was done..

1) Update from Design Style Library, or Save any modifications to the style Library.

2) Save the template file to the right location using the Command.. Inventor Menu - > Save As - >Save as template.

I have found step 2, is essential to removing conflict errors between the template and the Style Library.
