Delete a ContentTableColumn from a ContentFamily using the API

Is ist possible to delete a ContentTableColumn by using the API? Inventor's UI allows to delete a column from a fomily. But how to do this by api? Can't find any command in api help.

such as: ContentFamily.TableColumns["xyz"].Delete
