Defining Relation Limits with other part

I'm a student currently using Inventor 2017 and the Inventor 2015 Inventor Essentials Plus book. I'm on chapter 6, doing Exercise 6 - 2: Assembly Joints.
In this exercise, I'm putting a slider block on a track. I put the Slider Joint relation between the two, with the correct direction and everything else the book says. The final step is to put in a limit, which is done numerically/orphaned as just a measurement of +/- 2.

QUESTION: Is it possible to define the limits of the slide (or any relation like this) using other parts? So instead of putting it in as stated above, put it as a "Max: this face, edge can't go past this face/edge, Min: opposite face/edge can't go past opposite face/edge"?

If the file attached doesn't work for you, it's on the website: https://www.sdcpublications.com/Textbooks/Autodesk-Inventor-2015-Essentials-Plus/ISBN/978-1-58503-90...
