Code for creating real thread?

I am aware & use coolOrange's threadModeller.

However, I'm thinking if somewhere there are some code sample(s) which do more or less the same thing, that is making real threads which we can use for 3D Printing.

I am asking because I want to learn more about iLogic by doing something which most probably I will use.

If you're learning iLogic I would stick to the simple stuff for the time being. Attempting to copy the coolOrange thread modeller functionality is attempting to sprint before you can crawl.

Assuming you do want to continue looking at it, the original source code for it is still available here:

Thanks! I saw that the plugin is done by Autodesk employees. Do you think that if I write to them to fix some things, they will listen?

FTR, the main problem is if I change the diameter of the cylindrical face upon the thread was built, the generated thread stays the same. Do you think that this can be fixed?

The original code is from 2013, so it's somewhat unlikely but if you don't ask you don't get.

It's not impossible to modify the code as it currently is written.
