Change units in "create new material"

Hello,

How can I change the units to metric, when I create new materials?
It was metric always, and now I started to create the model in metric (and then convert to sheet metal).
Now its looks looks like that:

But earlyer, when I created, it looked like that, and now I would like to reach this:
